But I am hopeless at numbers.

Understanding the very basics about numbers is really all you need. Investing is much more about what people do because people buy and sell investments so if you understand how people behave you can become a good investor – especially with a patient financial friend alongside you all the way!

I already invest through a fund supermarket on my own.  Have done ok so know quite a bit already.  How will you be able to make a difference?

Please look at Rob’s Story. You will see his past record over many years.  Rob’s years of experience and especially his sense of ‘knowing’ and feeling the market will help?

Not much interested in investment but I do have several pensions all over the place.  Can you help me understand them?  I’ve heard you can bring them altogether in one place which sounds helpful?

Absolutely!  Our Courses cover these important points.  What you learn will show you what you can do and how you can bring them all together and take control of how your money is invested. So important for all of our futures.

They are taking money out of my salary every month to go into the company pension scheme or the new Auto Enrolment government scheme.  It’s quite a lot of money so what’s really happening here?

Sure.  You really need to know exactly where all that money is going and if you're getting a good result from losing the use of that money every month. Our Courses really will explain all this and show you how you can take control. You do not need to leave the money floating around somewhere just hoping something good comes out in the end.  Book a free introductory phone call with Rob now.

I am concerned about ethics and the planet. I prefer not to leave the money where it can do damage to other people or the environment.  No point having pension years away if the investments I make have helped to burn the future up!

Sure.  With you all the way on this.  The Courses will introduce you to investments and the thinking behind these issues so you can check where your money is going for better rather than worse.

Loads of my friends have hit unexpected and unprepared for events in life.  Stuff like divorce, redundancies and change of career.  Bad health and early retirement. A partner dying. A business folding and even big wins on the lottery! You just don’t know

That’s anyone’s choice to make of course.  Lack of money, knowledge and understanding in any of these circumstances leaves people insecure and uncertain.  Knowledge and control add to life’s enjoyments and keeps people steady and secure when the boat of life rocks in the storms of change!

What is the difference between financial advice and financial guidance/education?

Guidance is an impartial service which will help you identify your options and narrow down your choices, but will not tell you what to do or which product to buy. Providers of Guidance are responsible for the accuracy and quality of the information they provide but not for any decision you make based on it. Guidance is free unless your provider clearly tells you otherwise. Guidance will suggest what you should do.

On the other hand advice will a specific product or course of action that you should take given your circumstances and financial goals. This will be personal to you based on the information you provide. Advice will be provided by a qualified and regulated individual or online by a regulated organisation. Providers of advice are responsible and liable for the accuracy, quality and suitability of the recommendation they make and you are protected by law. You will usually pay a fee for advice. fees are disclosed before you are asked to commit yourself. Advice will recommend what you should do.
